The Interior Ministry of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG) confirmed that six rockets targeted Erbil International Airport. The U.S.-led counter-ISIS coalition reported that “indirect fire did not land on Coalition Forces… There was no damage or casualties”. The region’s prime minister declared: “the KRG will not tolerate any attempt to undermine Kurdistan’s stability and our response will be robust”.
