Hizbollah fired dozens of rockets at northern Israel. In response, the Israeli military struck Hizbollah targets in southern and north-eastern Lebanon. The IDF also targeted what was described as “two Syrian Army sites in southern Syria”, while asserting that it held “the Syrian regime accountable for all activities which take place within its territory and will not allow for any attempted actions which could lead to the entrenchment of Hizbollah on the Syrian front”. Hizbollah confirmed multiple fatalities.
