IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, referring to his conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Iran’s nuclear program, indicated that “there is an open dialogue with him and we will continue with it… Israel is a very important partner and friend of the IAEA in a number of activities related to the application of nuclear technology that the public may not be familiar with, but are very important”. Grossi went on to assert that “any attack on a nuclear facility is prohibited under international law… it’s something that should never be allowed to happen”.
