Hizbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah revealed that “we have agreed to start loading a third vessel” of Iranian fuel, adding that “coming days will prove those doubtful about the shipments arriving with fuel wrong”. He also called on the U.S. to “go ahead and give Lebanon an exemption for Iranian gasoline”. In 1 September remarks, Lebanon’s caretaker energy minister indicated that “we did not receive a request for permission” for Iranian fuel imports.
