Hizbollah claimed responsibility for multiple rocket barrages at Israeli targets near the border. The Israeli military responded by targeting the launch sites and Hizbollah infrastructure and military sites. Hizbollah confirmed one fatality. A senior member of Israeli war cabinet affirmed that “the situation on the northern border requires change… The hourglass for a diplomatic arrangement is running out”.
