National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan underscored that “the first order of business is get back into the JCPOA on a compliance-for-compliance basis. But the very design of the JCPOA always conceived of us continuing to work hard to deal with our deep concerns about Iran’s other activities and the other elements of the threat that Iran poses… that’s what we would intend to do on a going-forward basis”.
