The U.S. Commerce Department identified Iran as a “foreign adversary” in relation to information and communications technology and services (ICTS), noting that the ruling “allows the department to promulgate regulations to create the processes and procedures that the Secretary of Commerce will use to identify, assess and address certain transactions”. The decision had a 60-day grace period.
