Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin conferred with Israeli Minister of Defence Benny Gantz on “regional security challenges and Israel’s defence requirements”. Austin voiced “the Biden Administration’s support for replenishing the Iron Dome Defence System, and, according to a U.S. readout, the two sides “committed to continue cooperating closely on regional security”.
