Secretary of State Anthony Blinken affirmed that “Iran has to come back into compliance with its obligations under the nuclear agreement, and if it does, we’ll do the same thing. And that would involve, if they do it, some sanctions relief”. “We’re a long ways from that”, he added. “Unfortunately, Iran’s moving in the wrong direction. It continues to take steps that lift the various constraints of the agreement and is making its program more dangerous, not less dangerous”.
