Secretary of State Pompeo described the letter sent by Iran to the JCPOA's parties regarding its downgraded adherence to the deal as "intentionally ambiguous. We'll have to wait to see what Iran's actions actually are... Iran's decision to depart from the JCPOA for us mostly is about their decision to work on their nuclear program to create pathways which might reduce their breakout time".
