Secretary of State Anthony Blinken conferred with Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi on “regional security challenges”, while reaffirming “the U.S.’s strong commitment to Israel and its security”. According to an Israeli readout, the two officials discussed “Iran’s perpetual and intensifying violations of its nuclear commitment as well as Iran and its proxies’ regional activities”, and Blinken briefed Ashkenazi “on the [upcoming nuclear] talks… in Vienna”.
