Effective 28 June, the Department of Commerce blacklisted twelve Chinese entities “for their activities contrary to the national security and foreign policy interests of the U.S.”, asserting: “These entities use deceptive practices to supply or attempt to supply Iran with U.S.-origin electronics that would ultimately provide support to Iran’s military”.
