Prime Minister Yair Lapid emphasised to his British counterpart “the need to apply pressure and have a credible military threat, in order to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear threshold state”. The same day, Defence Minister Benny Gantz contended that “Iran is a global problem”, adding: “We are able to seriously harm and delay the nuclear [program]”. He further affirmed that “we are very unsatisfied with the [nuclear] agreement, which would be a bad agreement because it would be a temporary delay”.
