Prime Minister Netanyahu opined that “if you have rogue regimes that are intent nuclear weapons, you can sign 100 agreements with them, it doesn’t help… The only way that you can stop or abstain from getting nuclear weapons is a combination of crippling economic sanctions, but the most important thing, is a credible military threat”. Asked whether Israel was responsible for a 28 January attack against a military site in Isfahan, Netanyahu said: “Every time some explosion takes place in the Middle East… Israel is blamed or given responsibility. Sometimes we aren’t sometimes we’re not”. He further discussed Ukraine and stated: “Israel… acts in ways that I will not itemise here against Iran’s weapons productions, which are used against Ukraine”.
