In September 2019 he became a Giustra Fellow in the Europe and Central Asia Program. He is based in Kyiv and provides coverage of the conflict in Donbas and political, social and economic developments in Ukraine. Professional Background Before joining Crisis Group, Bogdan Voron worked as an analyst at the Foreign Media Unit of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in 2014. Before that he was a journalist at the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine, where he worked on the programs Debate PRO and Declassified History, as well as working with various radio stations and online media. He holds MA degrees in Journalism and Art History from the Ukrainian Catholic University and the Lviv National Academy of Art respectively.
