Professional Background Prior to joining Crisis Group, Carolin worked on the World Trade Organization's World Trade Report 2021. Before that, she was a research assistant working on a project investigating the political economy of propaganda at the University of Lausanne. During a year of social service, she supported a job training centre for young women from rural areas in Timor-Leste. Carolin holds a master's degree in Economics from the University of Lausanne.
