As Crisis Group Proofreader, Cassandra is the last line of defence for our publications and is responsible for proofreading and editing English and French publications. She ensures Crisis Group publications are up to standard and in line with our policy. She also contributes to our monthly conflict tracker CrisisWatch.

Before joining Crisis Group, Cassandra was based in Amman, Jordan and worked as a research and policy analyst at the Amman Center for Human Rights Studies, as well as editor-in-chief of that organisation's English-language publications. Prior to that, she was a journalist at MO* magazine, where she wrote about topics ranging from Middle East affairs to climate action. Cassandra holds an MA in Journalism and in Middle East Studies from KU Leuven in Belgium.
